River of Life

Perceiving life as hard is entirely a choice, regardless of how technical or demanding your responsibilities are.

A creek trickles peacefully, and a waterfall crashes powerfully, but both flow naturally and effortlessly. Whether our life is like a creek or a waterfall at any given time, it is our choice to resist or go with its flow. Whether we let ourselves sink like a rock, or float like a leaf, the river keeps flowing.

Butterfly

As a butterfly cannot properly develop without struggling to escape its cocoon, neither can people grow without being challenged and facing adversity. Challenges are opportunities for growth.

Manifest

The brain tends to subconsciously manifest what we imagine, irrespective of whether or not we want it to. So focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want.

When you give your attention to the good rather than bad in a person they will feel the spotlight on that aspect of themselves, and it can start to shine.

Aging Universe

If people born before us are born out of a younger universe, why do we call them older? In some sense they’re younger than us, since we’re the universe in an older state.

Scales of Life

Universal consciousness can be considered as one considers their own body. In the same way a human is the result of individual cells and neurons communicating, the universe is also the result of parts, such as animals or plants, communicating through the fundamentally same physical laws and properties which apply to the cellular world which makes us. So as a cell, if capable of introspection, could consider itself an individual and the body its universe, we know as the resulting net process of many cells that the product of the communication of individual parts leads to the feeling of an integrated whole. And so in the same way that cells are simultaneously individuals and a whole, we too can consider ourselves not only as a mere part of, but also as the entirety of, the organism that is all of reality.

Thoughts on Thoughts

The brain is its most efficient when given space to operate primarily subconsciously rather than consciously. When doing so you can feel ideas, rather than speaking them slowly with the voice in your head and having to listen to the entire sentence before progressing. Words are imperfect reflections of a deeper non-verbal ‘feeling’ of an idea, and so its better if you’re able to avoid them using them for thought and instead allowing the subconscious to take care of things. This is similar to how a person is able to read much faster when they’re not speaking written words in their head, and instead the information goes directly to the subconscious.
